		Cell culture confirmation of respiratory specimens from frozen repositories and fresh isolates were collected and tested at three separate geographical locations in the United States. ViraSTAT® and another in-vitro diagnostic kit were compared. A total of 278 specimens were examined with the FITC-labeled Anti-Parainfluenza Pool and a total of 434 specimens were examined with the FITC-labeled monoclonal antibody identification reagents.
